I have a really sad theory about the Happy Ghast in Minecraft.
In the new update, you can ride and rescue Happy Ghasts, but their backstory might be heartbreaking.
It’s almost confirmed that Mother Ghasts protect their young (Ghastlings) by moisturizing them with their own tears. This could explain why Ghastlings spawn near bones in the Soul Sand Valley—they may be the remains of fallen Ghasts who sacrificed themselves for their children.
Additionally, whenever a Ghast attacks, its eyes turn red. This could be because their tears, used to nurture their young, have left them strained and exhausted. And when they die, they drop Ghast Tears—a tragic reminder of their sorrow and sacrifice.
This could be a major piece of hidden Minecraft lore 😭🙏
