I guess I have finally come to a decision regarding my YouTube channel in the long run. Whenever I get my last payout from AdSense, I'll leave the YouTube partner program for good. I have lost the drive to be a "regular content creator" and don't plan to pursue that dream ever again. My YouTube channel has fizzled out.
I know I will never go viral ever again, I'll never see a million views on any of my videos, and I'll never see a silver or gold play button in my lifetime. And this isn't an easy choice. Especially when I've poured my heart and soul into this channel for over a decade. I'm more than likely going to retire as a content creator.
I'll just take my slow time in an attempt to finish my Saria mod playthrough. And whenever I get that completed, I may call my YouTube dreams a done deal. I still plan to keep my channel and videos up though, even long after I die. I just pray that it doesn't happen for a long time! If I still have it in me to make and upload videos, I'll do it. If not, then I am officially retired from content creation.
YouTube was a labor of love, and now, I've lost the passion and drive I once had.
