Leave the original up because, coming from a computer science nerd, deleting it would be bad for your algorithmic reach. If you aren't able to edit the original upload, your best bet is to keep the original upload again, upload again seperately in two parts if need be, adding an addendum to the original. Eventually if the new videos have more views, you could remove the original from listing (though I would still avoid outright deletion), but completely removing it would generally be worse for you based on how YouTube SEO algorithms approach deletion and re-uploads.

Artistically I would say take it down and re-upload, for sure! But I don't know if that makes the algorithm gods mad or not. Gotta keep the gods pacified.

Why does it seem so random, as far as who/what they choose to cut? Go in 2 parts... and include a link to the un-segmented vid in each one.

Geez, I'm so ticked. I made popcorn and an extra large Mt. Dew and fluffed up my pillows and I got half of a video. Ticked I tell ya! 😎 <-- please excuse the sarcasm ! What we got was great! Ok, so here's my 2 cents. Since whatever happened to the video occurred mid-song, and I dont think you are able to cut back the already published video, you should remove the original and try again

I need to apologize and ask your opinion. Somehow, YouTube cut my upload of the concert with Mike Scott and I and it’s about half as long of a video as it should’ve been. It was a strange cutoff and I never would’ve done that to you purposefully. I wonder if I ought to take this one down and repost the longer cut, or make a part two. Of course a 45 min long one is on Nebula and that one will stay put. But yeah…I’m sad about what happened with this one and thank all of you for your sweet comments and not being ticked at me haha
