I do think this is the case. 1: we know Disney uses bots and sock accounts to promote their movies. There's a reason why when sites like YT and Twitter do bot purges, corporate accounts get hurt the most. There's also a reason why all we got in terms of screenshots of the messages Ingram recieved, the screenshots were 6 accounts... all of which had redacted/censored names because if we had the names, we'd see that they were sock/bot accounts. 2: let's be honest, nobody, not me, JJ Plagiarism or anyone who reads this post ever heard of Moses Ingram before the news of the messages she supposedly got. 3: Ingram herself said that when she was hired, they PR trained her to be ready for this. To clarify... to be ready... meaning they knew this was coming... and they could only know this if it were a marketing stunt.

Curiously, these accusations of widespread racism are never accompanied by screenshots for evidence. If it really was that bad, one would think that we'd be stumbling across them all the time without even trying.

They either created bot accounts or scoured the internet for days for the most mildly racist tweets. I'm more inclined to belive the prior.

Everyone was neutral about her before the show. That stupid twitter account had to try to fan the flames because they knew her acting is indefensibly horrible, so any criticism towards her could be seen as racism

Kenobi was a pathetic show that broke the Star Wars Universe more then ever and destroyed Obi's character

I remember how angry i felt about the show breaking continuity and contradict what Obi-Wan was doing while in hiding. I argued that he shouldn't meet Leia. Some argue that she said Ben's name when Luke saved her. It's because of Obi-Wan's last name not that she knew him. Reva is such a bad character because she steals the entire scene of the show, even she survived lightsaber stabs which insults Qui-Gon's death and how powerful a lightsaber is. She committed a lot of evil and was forgiven in the end, instead of taking the consequences of her actions. This shows woke Disney in giving a evil woman a pass because they are misandrists who keep treating men terrible. Forgiving someone for their evil is not the type of redemption Star Wars is known for. And also, Obi-Wan shouldn't meet Vader until 9 years later, because for years the Empire believes that Obi-Wan died during Order 66 on Utapau, while Anakin and Sidious are the only ones who knows Obi-Wan is alive since Anakin last saw, fought, and defeated by him on mustafar. And seeing Obi-Wan being afraid of Vader broke continuity of Vader being the one who is afraid of Obi-Wan. The Empire being aware Obi-Wan's survival 9 years earlier contradict them thinking he's dead.

Disney actually warned the actress that the backlash would/was happening ahead of anything actually happening. Since then, I just assume they tell all of them that to stir the pot ahead of time.

It’s no secret that Disney doesn’t make things for fans anymore, they only do it for themselves.

The "outrage" is manufactured by Disney because this is a commonplace pattern for Disney to do what they do and the proof of the fake outrage is here; 1.) Cameron Monahan being lumped into the "white man = bad" argument being used on the internet to discredit him from participating as Cal Kestis. 2.) Multiple people have made it clear that if anyone doesn't like what disney is doing to star wars, they'll label you any term they throw around over having honest criticism towards an obviously bad movie, book, tv show and merch. 3.) Disney execs and disney fans will use and abuse social media (and or YouTube channel) if you don't agree with anything their policies dictate or say something that's rooted in common sense. Lastly, if you go to your nearest Walmart or bargain store, you'll still see the same untouched disney wars merch still there to this day!

I don't care. Her character wasn't as important as people made her out to be and I barely remember she exists. She was basically less interesting Trilla

I wouldn’t be surprised that disney had a hand in it, but at the same time these actors have a part to play in all these scandals!

This show was where I quit watching any new Star Wars, apart from seeing some of Andor and Mando Season 3 but I don’t really count those.

There will always be racists out there who don’t really care for Star Wars and only hate it for being “woke”, and they’ll be really loud and annoying about it, so it’s possible Disney tried using that to project it on to actual Star Wars fans who didn’t like the show for legitimate reasons like how poorly made and written it is.

I’m obviously gonna get cooked for saying this, specially in this channel, but it absolutely wasn’t manufactured. Did Disney take advantage of it? Sure. However there were definitely some crazy racist people mad because she was a black woman in Star Wars.

Same as what shills love to say about Kelly Marie or even Ahmed Best, to this day have you ever actually seen a screenshot of these “death threats”?

The show didn't need to be a spectical it could have been an introspective series about obiwan coming to terms with losing Anakin and meditating with the qui gon. Also a scene of him tinkering with anakin's hilt making it look how it did in episode 4. But alas Lucasfilm is being ran by idiots.

J.J. Plagiarisms
The “Moses Ingram Racism Controversy” was (mostly) manufactured by Disney Lucasfilm in order to paint Star Wars fans as the villain and bait sympathy reviews for the Kenobi Show.
