This looks very nice! I planted a lot of things this year, but what seems to be doing the best are the simple ones, like radish, roquette, and the autumn ones like brussel sprouts and cabbages. The summer varieties are not so successful where I live, but I try regardless😅 It is an immense pleasure to grow something yourself! Enjoy it!

Your produce and flowers are outstanding!!! We have such a problem with deer where I live that growing outdoors is difficult. So far, we've tried growing herbs indoors this year and the basil is fresh and aromatic! Good luck with your garden!

Yay! Your eggplants look amazing, thank you for sharing. My eggplants aren’t ready for picking yet. I also have to grow everything in containers and highly recommend it. This year I’m growing about 10 different kinds of tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, summer and winter squashes and pumpkins, and lots of herbs. I’m even growing my own cumin and fenugreek, which has been fun. The intense heavy rains in my area have caused a lot of damage this year and have more than usual garden pests. I’m battling with squash bugs for the first time ever. If anyone has any advice for dealing with them without using a chemical insecticide, please share your successes.

Beautiful! I am growing Thai chiles, a raspberry bush, cantaloupe, Ghost pepper, zucchini, green beans, nasturtiums and many herbs all in containers only.

I’ve had my best year for growing tomatoes and yellow courgettes, but my aubergine plant never worked. Had a few miniature cucumbers too, and some Trinidad chillies are still growing. The herbs all died except the rosemary.

I also planted eggplants jalapeños and morning glories, and the morning glories are just beautiful and, so far, just the pretty flowers on both,the brinjal and Jalapeños, like you,very ,very limited space, on the 3rd floor ,balcony but the joy from these beautiful plants is beautiful . Curries With Bumbi
Morning harvest of my eggplants. This year I am growing eggplants in my containers. This is the first time I am growing eggplants and my goodness I am getting rewarded with a lot. I’ve got a very limited space to grow but I use every bit of it during summers. Growing in containers is the only option for me but we can only do our best to use whatever we have!! I am growing eggplants, bell peppers, chillies of course, okra, tomatoes, zucchini, malabar spinach. What are you growing this summer?
