So now we have had a Sophia, a Sofiya, and a Sofia. (There has also been a Sophie, but the actress was actually a Jennifer.) That must get confusing. Regarding the aforementioned Jennifer, there has also been a Jennifer who used her real name (well, the diminutive Jenn), and both a Roxana (who is actually a Florina) and a Roxane, while Hannah and Aislinn were a twofold pair in that there has been a Hanna who is actually a Helena (not to mention an Anne-and an Annelisha) and an Amanda who is actually an Aislinn, and Davis is really a Kyle who came long before Ki. Furthermore, there has been both an Abigail and an Abby, and regarding James naming Ashley "Margaret," we have also had a Megan (which started as a Welsh diminutive of Margaret) and a Maggie. We have also had an Aly (well, Alyona, but that started as a Russian diminutive of Yelena, so it brings us back to Helena-not-Hanna) and an Ali-and an Alicen, which through Alicia can also tie to Annelisha or Elyssia. Meanwhile, Johanna and Yana are cognates, and astute viewers may have noticed Lucky's real name to be Lucas, so that gives us a connection to Luke. Plus, Marissa is derived from Marisa, which started as a combination of Maria and Luisa in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, thereby connecting to Mia (which started as a diminutive of Maria) and Louisa. That is not even getting into the two Jessicas, three Shannons, two Sarahs (plus a Sarah who went by Stacy because she was too close to the first Sarah) and two Emilys (one of whom is actually a Bella, although that ties to Isabel). Whew! Yeah, the "One Steve Limit," as TV Tropes would call it, died for this series long ago. (I did need to rely on Behind the Name to find some of the etymological overlaps, in particular a few of the ones that obviously will not be confused. I got carried away.)
