Really fucking sucks that youtube will just do this to certain kinds of content and certain creators. Sadly I'm not in a position financially to support you directly but I would if I could. Your deep dives on old horror games are awesome as something to actively watch while I eat and they're perfect for listening while I work or go to sleep. Genuinely mate, your efforts are appreciated

Every time this has happened to a content creator I've followed in the past, I suggested they contact YouTube's support team via Twitter and it worked. It seems to be the only way to reach an actual human. The other option is to break it up into parts and see if they individually get taken down. I'm really sorry this happened.

this sucks. i was watching that last night before bed and really enjoyed the video, and then i wake up to finish it to see that it got taken down. i feel for you man. i wish youtube wasnt so horrible with communicating with their creators.

First off; great vid. Secondly; it’s borderline criminal they can do that and their AI appeal-bot rejects it in seconds. ESPECIALLY given just how many adds popped up throughout the video that YouTube still profits from.

YouTube needs real support, especially for creators. I can't believe Google has gotten away with not having it for so long. You literally have to pay them for Google One to get any kind of direct contact with a human support agent.

I can't imagine putting months into a project and followed every guideline and still have your vid be hit with some vague reason to why it's demonetized and YouTube support being radio silent. I'm glad you powered through because I love your content

Honestly YouTube is such a terrible platform, I saw it pop up last night, with the darkness being one of my favourite game series. I was very excited to watch the 3h video. Honestly heartbreaking.

I got to watch the first quarter of it and then it crapped out. Censorship is tyranny. You don't deserve that treatment. Hopeyou can re upload again somehow. I will watch 3 or 4 times to make up for it.

Hey all, sorry for the confusion, after uploading every single section of the darkness video to YouTube and checking that monetisation is fine (which it still is for each Individual chunk) the video was demonetised after several hours and the appeal rejected within seconds.
I spent six months working on this video, followed every rule and checked the product meticulously, I honestly don’t know what else I could have/can do moving forwards, but this is devastating.
