ZOE

Is your breakfast secretly causing your mid-morning energy crash?

In ZOE’s new survey of US adults, we found that only 1 in 4 people get enough protein with their breakfast, and fewer than 1 in 5 get enough fiber. Both are essential for keeping you full and energized.

Protein helps steady your blood sugar and keeps hunger at bay, while fiber supports your gut health and slows energy release, helping to prevent those 10am slumps.

When your breakfast lacks these nutrients, your blood sugar can spike and crash, leaving you tired, hungry, and reaching for snacks by mid-morning. That’s exactly what our survey found: two-thirds of people reported an energy slump before lunch, and 1 in 3 felt hungry again within just a few hours.

That’s why we created the ZOE Better Breakfast Guide, to help you build a morning meal that keeps you energized and satisfied for longer.

Inside, you’ll find six delicious, science-backed recipes designed to balance protein, fiber, and flavor, plus expert tips from ZOE scientists to make healthy eating simple and enjoyable.

The no 1 biomarker for how well you will age is natural hormone production. When hormones decline health and wellness declines. Sarcopenia arrives loss of bone density and reduced activity levels along with cognitive decline poor moods and increased stress. This is why all biohackers are on TRT to attempt to compensate for this deficit. I went from 334 to 960 in around three months all natural no TRT. This book should be essential reading for all men. U.S. people eat way too much protein to begin with, doesn't matter if you eat it in the morning. The body takes the amino acids whenever you provide. Some people don't eat breakfast and are fine. Feeling full has to do with fibres but also with psychological and hormonal (therefore genetic) factors. Proteins are way harder to digest as well an will actually drain energy from the system as well. No way this protein recommendation makes any sense.
