Maiden The Metalhead

I'm kinda back and with a rant.

Sounds like I've been living under a rock, but I don't think I know of any games company that shits on its community like Rockstar Games. The state of GTA right now is the worst I can remember. There are at least three, maybe four God Mode related glitches (Player, Vehicle and Aircraft) that render the game nigh on unplayable. Real-life commitments aside, it's mostly why I haven't uploaded in months.

Three times they have released this game, and you would think they'd improve things each time. Why is it that we have to wait (what feels like an eternity) for God Mode glitches to be patched? But a money glitch gets patched in mere days? Heck, random glitches that don't harm the game (clothing etc) and no one complained about, get patched. You can clearly see where their priority lies and the community isn't that. It was the same on GTA4 with the modder situation, and I fear the same negligence will carry over to GTA6.

Yes, you need revenue to keep a company going, and yes, we get free updates. But for once, they ought to put their community first. When consumers buy your game, you have a responsibility to support and communicate with them. Negligence should not even be part of that. Throw the gta+ and shark card nonsense out of the window for starters & put your community first.

There are lessons to be learned, whether they will remains to be seen. They are a talented company, as a fan of the past gta games, they are capable of making great products. For me, the whole support aspect needs a complete overhaul, to regain that good reputation they once had.
