The whole Miyamoto thing does get overstated. He didn't even like Sticker Star when he played the final version.

As @theshadowdirector said, the Miyamoto antagonism angle is largely hyperbolic misapprehension by a group of hardcore fans. It really shouldn't be given credence or visibility.

Quickly realising that these thumbnails don't fit the poll squares very well, but whatever, you get the gist of these.

People are still blaming Miyamoto for Paper Mario’s downfall? Come on guys enough with treating Miyamoto as some sort of evil villain mastermind. It’s not entirely his fault for the Paper Mario franchise’s downfall. Hell even he hated Sticker Star when he played it, with him flat out describing the game as “boring.”

I think the Miyamoto thumbnail would be a good lead-in to debunking that whole story.

In some peoples eyes, miyamoto can do no wrong. The silent majority speak for themselves

Miyamoto is not completely to blame for how bad Sticker Star and Color Splash were. He didn’t even like Sticker Star, he called it boring and called out the mistreatment of Bowser!

This Paper Mario remake is 30 fps when the original was 60fps. Disgraceful.
