Having just heard the announcement Lloyd Brown made last month - that he has officially bid farewell to the "reggae music industry" - I can hand on heart say that this was no shock announcement to me. For fans and anyone who has followed Lloyd's 40+ yrs career within the UK reggae business, will know that while he has blessed us with 30 albums & countless timeless hit singles, his journey within the business (particularly this last decade) has not always been an easy one, but his love of reggae music, loyalty to his fans and maintaining his authentic self kept him above the fray and "movin' on".
Although he bids farewell to the reggae business, he's says he's not bidding farewell to music. A new musical journey awaits us fans, and so while we wait for the upcoming 31st album... let's enjoy this compilation showcasing his 30 albums to date. Thank you LB for your music (thus far!). More love!
