Roadside RC

The new body design from Kyosho on the D2 drift car is officially available!
Which would you go with? The new-school or old-school??

Pandora makes a fantastic ae86 already. The only way to get a good gt86 is either tamiya or killerbody. I like the kyosho gt86 as it's not wide body, but has a nice aftermarket lip.

Fun fact: both are modeled and decorated like the ACTUAL cars used by Takumi in Initial D and the new protagonist in the MF Ghost sequel series. Kyosho apparently has a license to build models of the actual Initial D cars and have been for decades. These just happen to be two of the most popular. Honestly, I like the hachi. It looks correct. The “new” 86 looks odd with its wheel fitment BUT matches the wheels that are found on the MF Ghost GT86.

@YotaScaleGarage

Definitely had to go with the trueno. Kyoshos been taking too long with the chassis upgrades so i had to give such a nice body well deserved Usukani NGE chassis.

Waiting for the yeah racing slide rack and kyosho to produce enough of their upgrade parts so a ball/gear diff is available. Imo just get a yokomo rd2.0 and get the kyosho body.
