I purchased the Flex compact drill kit and both drills and batteries were clearly used. They looked like they had been on a concrete job site for years. I was able to exchange them though

It is new to YOU, Robert. It's not just Lowe's. I helped my dad replacing the thermostat, we went to HD, and he picked the tag for the thermostat he wanted and went to the PRO desk up front to pay and pick up the item. We were handed the box, and I noticed that it had been open, so I opened it once more to check for any missing parts . What do you know? Parts were missing, so I asked for an unopened unit. For a few years I depending on the item value, I have always checked the box before walking out of the store for that reason.

Bro this has happened to me 4 times this past year alone ! 3 times at Lowes 1 time at Home Depot . And when I brought it back like the 3rd time they told me I changed it out ! And wouldn’t replace it . So now I will no longer order online and if I do I make them open the box to check 1st . It’s absolutely ridiculous!

That’s kinda the same thing that happened yesterday I bought the flex impact wrench for $129 on sale or clearance and I was at the customer service desk and I opened the box and wrench was gone. Lowe’s employee went and found a new unopened box on top shelf in aisle. Lowe’s is pathetic

How are their nailers though? Have been wanting to try them out. Look nice and Bosch is usually quality.

It was on the ship that crashed the key bridge in Maryland and one of the few recovery’s . That’s crazy!

Same thing happened to me at Home Depot, bought a “new” flexvolt circ saw and it looked like it was at the end of its life cycle when I got it outta the box

Those Bosch nailers and stapler are kinda new to their lineup. I work at a Lowe's in the tool department. I have no involvement in what happened to the crown stapler you purchased. I sometimes see damaged boxes that our store received. It's like someone in the product shipping line was a bit rough with loading the trailer

And these clowns spider lock and put them behind cages so we end up standing around waiting for someone to come assist us. Just to get home and find out it’s a used tool.

😂 it looks brand new to me 🤦♂️! What dumpster did they pull that from to send it to you? Was it in a box? It’s terrible how quality control has gone down. I have to wonder the back story , how did that happen?? Was it a return that was never checked and sent to you 🤷♂️. How how how .? !

@lowes yet another fine example of the professionalism of their online buying program. This was sent to me as "new," but you can clearly see this isn't new and may have been used as a hammer.
