When I was a little kid my father took me and my brother to visit my uncle in Costa Rica around Thanksgiving time. We went tuna fishing out on the Pacific where I caught a 105 pounder (it was taller than me at the time), so for Thanksgiving that's what we ate instead of turkey or ham. One of the most memorable holidays in my life.

Never been a big fan of turkey. If a ham is done right, it's close to a good steak (in my opinion & preference)

My brother-in-law made prime rib last thanksgiving, everyone was very sleepy right after dinner. So damn good!

Prime rib is the correct answer, even though I've never had it on Thanksgiving.

Gives you a little insight into your audience where a close second to turkey is “my meat”!

Venison, rabbit and squirrel gravy, buffalo, mule deer, moose, elk and fish. Pheasant and duck... You know all the good stuff. Snapping turtle stew and alligator .. That is the ultimate thanksgiving meal.... But I usually always end up with corn chips and some salsa if I'm lucky maybe a peanut butter sandwich or cereal... My usual holiday meal...

Smoked Turkey is the way to go. People are lined up around the block for this special bird. Raven's Deli has been making wonderful products since 1972.

Ham. Ham is the best. Good god people. I can understand how you might like prime rib more, but turkey more than ham? Ham has more flavor, and is easier to cook. But a turkey is just chicken, just bigger and harder to cook. I’ll admit, perfectly cooked turkey is good, but it’s so hard to do that, and ham would still taste better anyway. People are crazy.
