I hope you’ll excuse a post like this, but my Alma Mater, Cardiff University, has announced it’s planning to close down our School of Music – it’s one of the most important assets of music and the arts in the whole of Wales (in the UK), and as a former student I can fully attest to how much of an enormous impact it has had, and its closure would have, on music of all kinds in the country.
If you’re a musician from nearby, there’s a ‘Salvation Symphony Orchestra and Chorus’ putting on a huge ‘protest’ concert on Saturday 22nd February.
