Harjinder Singh broke multiple serious laws at once, vehicular homicide, manslaughter, and federal immigration violations, and possibly others related to commercial trucking. Even if he has mental health issues, they do not excuse his actions. Given the severity of the crime and the deaths caused, he will likely serve the full 45-year sentence in the U.S., and public petitions or sympathy will not change that. Justice for the victims will be upheld. Those millions of people are wrong, no one is above the law.
