Annihilation is pretty cool. Reminds me a lot of stalker but unfortunately kinda falls flat in a way

Discussing the Southern Reach Series? I'm here for it! Just caught up on the books!

I can’t quite remember the name, but there was this story we read for school about an AI controlled house that was left behind after a bombing and the story simply followed the house continuing its day to day job until it just burned itself down one day due to no one being there. It was actually a bit disturbing as to how the house felt alive, yet not alive at the same time. I did not realize I remembered it until now.

Are there any tales of entities that form a symbiotic relationship? Sometimes they get confused with parasitic beings.

Discussing annihilation as a movie rather than book is such a mistake! The southern reach trilogy are some of my favorite books. Also- the books are very character driven
