Thank you Charlie, I have emailed my MP stating my disappointment and disgust with these reforms. So many people who score two across the board for daily living due to their condition making them have some difficulty/ need aids across the board so they will lose their PIP due to not scoring 4 in one section of daily living. The whole thing is shocking. Plus they talk about the huge benefits bill but 48.1% of this benefits bill are pensions - pensions that people have paid into their whole lives so pensions should not be included in ‘the benefits bill’.

It's hard to not panic. The proposed 4 point minimum rule would knock out my PIP despite currently receiving enhanced payments for daily living. How can you go from from being on enhanced Payments to being fit to work with 1 single point!? I feel worthless, I no longer see the point of living in a world when I won't be able to buy a point of milk if these changes go ahead! Thank you Charlie for doing what you do. Xx

Thanks Charlie! I haven’t had my universal credit form yet! And having anxiety isn’t helping and this benefit cut thing is frightening!

I know it's only 'green paper', but considering the majority, it's going to be a tough job convincing enough MPs to vote against it. What we really need are proper assessments, with accurate reports -- too many times people are scored fewer points than they should be, and that includes in the reports they get after they are awarded. I bet that, with proper assessment, people would get the required 4 points per category way more frequently than they do now.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This situation is affecting me on every level. My trauma is gone back to a crippling state. My PTSD has gone through the roof over the past 2/3 days. Especially since yesterday and everything I've seen. Thank you, Charlie. Thank you, Charlie. Thank you 👍

I have low rate on both under the new rules I would loose my daily care as I only get 2s across the board on daily living. Most people I know who get pip are on similar points its disgraceful what they are doing.

I think you do an absolutely fantastic job keeping the community up to date. You present the facts and take the anxiety out of staying informed. Stay well. 😊

This so-called consultation is a sham because it deliberately avoids the most controversial and damaging changes, including: Scrapping the WCA Merging PIP and UC health assessments Freezing the UC health element until 2029/30 Raising the PIP threshold so only those scoring 4+ on a single activity qualify Restarting WCA reassessments until it's abolished Instead of asking whether people support these cuts, the consultation assumes they’re already accepted and just asks how they should be implemented. It’s designed to silence opposition rather than gather real feedback. This Labour government is proving to be even more deceptive than the Conservatives, and these cuts will leave thousands without the support they need. What You Can Do: Fill out the consultation anyway to make sure opposition is recorded. (Link here) Contact your MP or a member of the House of Lords to demand proper scrutiny. Support legal challenges—a judicial review overturned previous DWP cuts, and it could happen again. With legislation coming as early as May, time is running out. We must act now.

Thanks Charlie, Im so worried as currently going through a review. It had to be there by 25th Dec so still waiting. I had a text from them yesterday saying there still looking into my review do have been panicking about what iv heard on the news. Im so much worse than when 1st got pip but its getting them to see that. Iv needed an adapted car since 1st got pip but they have only given me standard on both parts, as were going on about being able to drive & navigate so didnt need help with getting around. Surely I need to be able to drive a car in 1st place so why. I cant be the only person either who has experienced this. So now its if dont have a car I will be house bound. Your now the only person I trust & have told other people to watch your videos as so helpful x

Thanks for all your videos Charlie, only recently found your channel. If this goes ahead, it looks likely that I'll lose my daily living component (currently only got 2's in my activities) which will also mean the loss of carers allowance. I'm currently at Tribunal stage from a Change of Circumstances that I notified in Dec 2023 ! I'm hopeful that one of my activities gets upped to 4 points. Again if this goes through, there will be a flurry of people lodging change of circumstances forms trying to increase their points. As you've previously said, if you currently have 8 points and a change of circumstance may only gain you 2 points to make 10, there's no point. But boy there is now !

I am going through the full GREEN paper that the Government has issued. I am confirming the FACTS and doing an urgent video. I am going to try and get it out tomorrow. I just want to understand the FACTS and not the panic shit that is the media.
Please do NOT panic at this point. We do NOT need to panic. Update coming soon x
