I will never forgive Nintendo and X-Box for using the same buttons but arranging them differently. I normally play on X-Box but I just started playing Detroit Become Human with my girlfriend on the Switch and the button placements are really throwing me off when making choices and doing QTEs.

I currently use a modern GameCube controller (third party) it's actually really cool and one of my favorites. It has a great button layout, clicky bumpers, and good sticks with gates (though the controller came with a stick cover without the gates)

I like the y-axis offset of the joysticks’ position relative to each other on the Xbox controller.

Damn. I haven't heard of a Leapfrog in years. I used to have one and played NeoPets on it

Trying to use the dpad while also using the left joystick feels impossible with the joystick above the dpad. Playstation layout works way better for that

My big hands prefer the Xbox controller. Playstation controllers feel weirdly small to me, maybe that's just me. I also prefer the trigger buttons to L2 and R2. I've used both though, it's purely down to what feels better to hold for long periods of time.

Playstation is iconic. Xbox is ergonomic. Nintendo is just all over the place.

I used to like xbox's button placements because I had the 360 but after getting the switch I'm used to the switch controls and switching between the two is horrible

Ps/xbox button placement + xbox/Nintendo joystick plasment = perfect controller

Xbox and Nintendo should sync their buttons, with Xbox keeping their A and B button placements, and Nintendo keeping their X and Y placements.

I have only used ps3 controller but i have never liked the layout and i hate that switch has the same layout as xbox but different button formations, xbox just feels so natural imo

I like PlayStation because at least for me I won’t get as confused when switching between it and Xbox or Nintendo.

I actually really liked the feel of the PS4 controller, but I feel comfortable on any pad in general, except on racing games I prefer a PlayStation controller a lot more.

It doesn't matter. The overall design is the same to support our generalized button maps
