🧬 Male Infertility in TCM

In Western terms, male infertility is often due to low sperm count, low motility, or abnormal morphology—with contributing factors like illness, injury, obesity, chronic disease, genetics, smoking, or alcohol use.

🌿 From a TCM Perspective:

Low sperm count & poor morphology → Kidney Essence Deficiency
Low motility → often linked to Liver Qi Stagnation
Excessive ejaculation or overwork further weakens Kidney Jing

✨ Clinical Tip:
Encourage patients to have intercourse every second day—this allows for optimal sperm regeneration while maintaining vitality.

🎯 Ear Acupuncture Points:
👂 KD • LV • Subcortex • Endocrine

💡 The TCM approach focuses on nourishing Kidney Essence, soothing Liver Qi, and harmonizing the endocrine system to support fertility naturally.

PRAAAIIISSEEE!!!! Some love for impotence !!! It is so crazy I’m only 30 and never in my life have had these issues until moving to a small town that really doesn’t resonate with my body. Now I could not get aroused if I wanted to lol! And more neck pain! I think my Yin might be good, but yang and liver qi stagnation for sure. I’m glad this is posted. I think it’s easy for guys to get shame about this kind of stuff but that helps NO ONE and especially doesn’t help them. But talking about it can be a start to solving it 🫡🫶
