It’s good to be aware of more than one series. SEGA’s been pushing for Sonic to be a much bigger ecosystem post-movie, but this inevitably leads to myopia and echo-chambers (doubly so with how connected Sonic’s fandom and official works are currently). But SEGA will never have a complete monopoly on *every* singular thing we love about the series, be it story, music, gameplay, or anything. And there’s always more out there to love. :_adviculous:

I've been preparing... Watching a lot of newer media, refreshing my media knowledge and experience for the upcoming big sequel to Sonic Frontiers.
It's very important to know what else is fresh on audiences minds, to find more common connection as discourse gets exaggerated by social media.
This means researching Eastern AND Western media.
I look forward to returning when the news cycle returns it's focus to a uniquely "Sonic" experience.
I don't have much to add to a conversation about party games built to expand the brand's reach. (Rumble, Crossworlds, Blitz)
