One thing to note is that 10 of the Drum & Bass songs are from Cartoon's recent album, which might inflate the number of DnB songs a bit, but it'd still place second regardless.

People say they're spamming Funk, Pluggnb and Angelcore because they released a lot of them over a short period of time

We still feel like Funk is spammed. Because most people here won't complain having a lot of House or Drum and Bass in a month or year, but not for Funk. And that's because they were always prominent in NCS history, unlike Funk which has been since 2024.

Diviners - Change, and Syn Cole - Another Way, were so good. I hope we get more Electro artists though, it has been a minute since we have gotten actually good electro that isn’t being held back or watered down. But ofc NCS will never accept it, or drumstep anymore, (Since many Drumstep and Electro artists have been rejected, such as Kanro.)

grouping commercial house and future house together just to push the "house is still prominent" narrative

We got 23 Houses, and they still complain about funk being spamming 💀

I just want whatever genre they are releasing should be at least good ones because this year songs got too much hate and u can see that by just looking at the comment sections

Now that you lay it out like this, you make a good point that they are not spamming Funk songs or anything like that. I never really thought they were. It’s just that, I think a lot of the releases this year have been pretty weak, even the House and DnB releases.

Bro shynwave, hardstyle, Tropical house, electro house, bass, and prosgressive house is lossing in ncs

trap and future bass are two separate genre. although they do share some similarities. but i think you should split future house (and it’s subgenres) and classic house into 2 different category

House WAS prominent Just because there's a lot of house for a few months and then none with a lot of funk instead house isn't prominent anymore currently it's a ton of Funk/Witch House/Angelcore, not Pluggnb though

Nameless
NCS has released a total of 103 releases this year so far, with the latest one being Want Your Body as of writing this.
So far the genre distribution looks like this:
23 House
22 Drum & Bass
10 Funk
9 Dubstep/Drumstep
9 Trap/Future Bass
5 Pop
4 Angelcore/Witch House
4 Garage
4 "Pluggnb"
3 Jersey Club
2 Rap
2 Hardcore
2 Trance
2 Techno
1 Moombahcore
1 jedag jedug
I see a lot of comments pointing out that they're "spamming" Funk, Angelcore & Pluggnb which isn't really the case. They've been somewhat prominent, but the reality is that House and Drum & Bass are still very much dominant, making up roughly 44% of the releases this year.
