Hey Everyone it's time for an important RL update from me and some changes that this will mean to the Discord and the Channel.

Unfortunately I found out recently that they are reducing numbers where I work by 40%, and as a result of this I'm going to be made redundant later this year. Anyone who has ever been in that situation themselves knows it's not a pleasant experience in any circumstances, especially when you've given a lot to the company you work for over many, many years (for me it's been almost 13 years!)

As a result I've been having to think a lot about what I'm going to do. After much thought and discussion with my family I've decided that I'm going to try going full time in Content creation, to see if I can make that work. It's not going to be easy, but It's one of those things that I need to see as an opportunity, and would kick myself if I didn't at least try.

What does this mean for the channel? It means that I'm going to get a lot more time to make more and better content. Striving to improve what I do and how I do it. I'll also be looking to phase back into things I simply didn't have time for like streaming and simply making more builds.

It also means some other changes within my Discord, Channel Memberships & Patreon. For example had previously offered my older world download free on Discord, but they are going to become part of the Patreon offering from the start of November. this wasn't a choice I took lightly, but it's the one that will give me the best chance to make a real go of this. Until the end of this month you will still be able to access the builds in #the-post-room but after that the vast majority of them (although a few will remain) will be removed.

This will also be accompanied by a revamp of the Patreon levels and a removal of Channel Memberships as they are, but I'll share more details of these down the line.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you. Without your support up to this point then I wouldn't even be able to consider it as an option. But it will be incredibly hard work as realistically unless I can continue to grow and scale my channel then it will not be sustainable financially.

Not going to lie, this has been an incredibly tough time for me and my family, but I hope I can look back in years to come as a positive.

Thank you for your support
