How long have you been into self-improvement?

All my life

Noticed that I degraded as a human being, I strayed farther from what I wanted myself to be. So all the goals I wanted to achieve were beginning to look like delusions because of the ways I lived my life. I realized that and I somewhat gained enlightenment, started working for myself. Instead of ending my work after the shift at my job which I normally just watch movies and chill because "my work is done it's time to relax" and "I'm too tired today I'll do it tomorrow" mindset, I've reset my mind to think that after my job is just the start of the work of my life. I hope I don't stray too far as I've had before, I know there will be times that I will feel like giving up, and my consistency will break down, as long as I pick myself up again I'll be set. I hope I can trust myself to do just that.

I've been seriously looking into it less than a year, but realized this is something to be done for the rest of my life for self improvement needs time and patience. Loving every second of it.

Since I hit rock bottom in the 90s when I was in my 20s. Will be 50 next year and only recently discovered stoicism and the potential benefits of journalling.

I'm currently 20 and I was absolutely obsessed with self care books when I was 8 years old

When it comes to physical self-improvement, 5+ years. Been working out consistently for over 5 years. When it comes to mental self-improvement such as improving skills, routines, and reading/listening to self-help books, etc... it's been 1-2 years so far.

on my own experience i realized that you just need to enjoy life and stop your thoughts, also care about your body, health and stuff, everything else is optional and free to enjoy

Didn't know that women are also consuming and trying to improve themselves. Nice to see that 👍

Under a half a year now and things have made themselves much more apparent the past day/ days. I feel like so many videos show the positive light of awakening but never the negatives that others seem to talk about. It’s almost like there’s an occult in a way idk how to describe it that great many confusing comments and things as of late.

I’ve been meditating and reading classical literature since I was 8, playing piano and studying history since I was 10, practicing Martial Arts since I was 15, doing No Fap before it was even given a name, and developing a business to feed and help my community. This is the true Nature of Man, the character God gave us so that we could be co-owners and partners with Him over the Earth. Develop yourself and become the god that God created you to be (Psalms 82:6 and John 10:34).

After a traumatic breakup with my children’s father, I knew I needed to change. I wish I knew at an early age but I’m grateful that I have the opportunity now♥️
