June Devotion: Family of God
When we talk about family, we naturally think of our parents, siblings, spouse, and children, the people who are connected to us by blood and with whom we live. This month's devotional takes us to think about a larger and eternal home. The author tells us many true stories that happened in his own family, his faith journey, and his outreach ministry in the Roseland district of Chicago. These stories show us how a family closely connected in the Lord shines with a love that transcends the human world. This family comes from the love of Christ; this spiritual family is the blessing enjoyed by all who follow Jesus.
