Insurance companies have been doing this a lot lately with the write offs. It makes it difficult because the payout is usually low and you have to buy another car.

Stay strong brother! Lots of drivers on the streets nowadays who don’t deserve a license, but somehow managed to get one. Good to know you’re relatively unharmed and will be alright.

That is so scary! Glad you’re okay! Canada is the worst for these claims. My vehicle was damaged by a deer and it took up to three months for an adjuster. Got into my second new vehicle and then I got thrown off the road due to swerving on coming traffic. My air bags went off and now my second new vehicle is considered a write off. Currently waiting for adjuster. First month in and no call back.

Be glad it's a write off. I was hit by an impaired driver and the damage was close to 30k. The greasy insurance company refused to write it off. They actually fixed it.

This is the same playbook California did raising taxes and blaming administrations or climate change when it goes wrong

Ohhhh that sucks! I’m so glad you are OK, that’s the main thing but the financial hit is rough too. Can you sue the other drivers insurance? If they are at fault you should!

Glad your alright. Accidents happens and it sucks. Car might be totaled and the hassle of dealing with insurance. It took me a year to get my deductible back after I got hit by a uninsured driver

It's sad 😔 You can always control how you drive but not the rest of drivers on the road, thanks God your ok and your family wasn't with you when it all happened.🙏

Matt Cart
This weekend I got into my very first car accident. Got T-boned in a residential area intersection. And it looks like the car is going to be a write off, which is going to raise my insurance to absurd levels. Just when I thought Canada couldn’t get any more expensive this happens to me… But I am incredibly thankful that I only ended up with a bruise on my leg and no one else was in the car, thank God. Definitely one of the scariest moments of my life, and I’m still trying to process everything. I might talk about it in a video soon.. but wanted to let everyone know about what happens since I’m incredibly grateful for my community and you guys have been amazing. Thank you for your continued support and I’ll see you later today for my daily upload.
