Let's Talk Babywearing

So often, parents are told that as soon as their baby or young toddler begins walking, they should no longer be babywearing. Honestly, many parents are told that long before their babies even get close to the walking stage!

But, babywearing provides so many benefits to both the child and wearer. From something as simple as convenience, to providing the contact infants need while also building your parent brain.

Cuddles, being held, and affectionate touches have been shown to be critical in building a baby's stress and emotional system. Do you have to use a baby carrier to do this? Of course not! However, it can be a wonderful tool that allows you a hands-free mode to provide those benefits.

The infant brain doesn't finish developing until around 3 years of age and, the need for closeness doesn't end there.

Finding the tools that allow you to provide that in a way that is beneficial to both of you is so incredible. Whether that means babywearing or finding time to cuddle on the couch or hang out and play on the floor together- giving our children that connection in a way that works for both is amazing!
