Hey everyone! You may have noticed that over the past few weeks we've been trying some new things and changing up the channel in a few ways, most notably the name! Tallgrass Tailor is our tailor shop in Tulsa, OK, and me, my husband Garrison, and Bobby (the guy shooting and editing the videos) started making videos to help teach our contractors how to do specific alterations in a way that was easy to digest and reference. Fast forward several years, and we're of course still making alterations videos, but there's just so much more to the world of sewing that we want to explore and make content about! With that in mind, we realized that the shop and the channel had become two different things entirely, and we wanted to reflect that with a name change: The Sew Show With Shae!
Thanks to how much you've supported us over the last few months, we've been experimenting with ways to make our videos more entertaining AND more educational, but also more sustainable since the shop only gets busier and busier! Don't worry though, the big tutorials aren't going ANYWHERE, we just want to expand our horizons! (Did you catch our HOUR LONG Suit Jacket Shoulder video yet?)
SO we have a question: what kinds of sewing-related content would you be interested in seeing more of in the future? We'll be putting up more polls to help us find out what you like, but just for now, how long do you like the videos? Would you prefer more edited down versions of tutorials? Would you be interested in streaming content where we can work on a project together? What about videos focused on operating the shop? This channel is a collaboration with you, after all, so thank you for coming along as we continue to learn, grow, and explore the world of sewing and alterations!
