You know he's funny if Ryan George says he's funny, because Ryan knows funny. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I’m 43, my son is 12. The thought of him typing something like this out for me is gut wrenching to say the least. Much love.

I had to sit down to read this. My sincerest condolences. Your channels have brought joy to me for years. A stranger. A black boy from the Virgin Islands. That’s how far your reach is. Your Dad must’ve been extremely proud to know his son has helped literally millions of ppl laugh through hard times. Thank you Poppa George.

I am so sorry to hear this. I similarly lost my mom at 62 to pancreatic cancer within FIVE days. Still surreal five years later but I’m blessed to have the time with her that I did ❤

Dam, sorry man.. i lost my fiance to cancer recently, so i understand the pain. She was only 35. He lived a mostly full life and was surely extremely proud. He knew he had a legacy to live on in his name.

He raised a great man and I'm sure did other amazing things. The world is better because he was in it.

He raised a great kid. There couldn't be a better testimonial to him than that.

I am devastated to share that my beloved father passed away a few weeks ago at the young age of 67 after a sudden battle with cancer. From one day to the next, he went from being completely fine to being told he had weeks to live.
He was the best dad, husband and grandfather. He was always so kind, generous and supportive. He had a quick wit, a wicked sense of humour, and put all of himself into every project he took on.
He instilled in my sister and I a strong sense of right and wrong, taught us to be good people and to work hard. Above all else, he built a strong family founded on love. These are values that we are determined to pass along to our children as well.
We will forever miss him and truly can’t believe he was taken from us so suddenly. We were really looking forward to several more decades with him by our side.
I know that my dad was proud that I somehow made a career out of bringing some laughter into an increasingly dark world.
And so, even though I don’t feel very funny right now, I do plan on getting back to work when I can… because I know that’s what he would want. I’m aiming for the new year- and hoping the YouTube algorithm will be as understanding as I know you all will be.
I love you forever, papa. I’m so sorry this happened to you.
