Less adults oriented sets, more low price, affordable smaller sets for kids. Also i wan't 18+ set's box art to not be just black background

Prices are insane and a lot of builders are getting priced out of the hobby

I think LEGO really needs to stop leaning into licensed sets, especially the high prices ones, and go back to their old ways of being about building and rebuilding into your own creations. There is too much focus on building and displaying (gathering dust).

For me the fomo gift with purchases are a big issue, along with the fact that so many sets are so large, it seems like lego is valuing adult collectors with deep pockets over being a kids toy that adults can enjoy. also the reliance on branded themes makes it feel like creativity is being sucked from the brand. Finally the inclusion of more and more exclusive figures to huge sets feels greedy for a company that has been making record profits. feels like a lot of the joy has been disregarded for profits.

Pricing is the main one. Got back into the hobby around 2020 after a 10 year break. Now I’m forced to stop participating due to the prices. Just not viable in this economy for what is a toy brand. Lego clearly shifted to adults more heavily then adults and that’s clear in their pricing model.

Bit of a random one but the ideas supporter threshold really should be increased

Good aspects: Part variety: if you can imagine it, you can build it with the parts that Lego has available. Wide variety of themes: especially with Pokémon and Star Trek getting added, usually have a theme that will interest everyone. Aspects to improve: Price: The high price. If we have brands like Lumibricks that offers huge sets with lights and all prints, no stickers for a fraction of the price of Lego, they can lower their prices. Theme pricing: If Lego is going to release a them like LOTR, they need to offer small, medium and large sets.

I do like that Lego has a variety of themes and licensed sets. I don’t like when they are trapped behind a high price paywall. I think they should release waves similar to the One Piece wave where there was a variety of price points to get stuff in the theme. When you get only 1 set and it’s costs $250 or more it sucks for those that miss out. Plus the prices are too high right now and the huge sets create a display issue for fans. Limited amount of space to display and store

They need to relearn how to make playsets large again. They’ve shrunk so much. Also, Lego needs to stop using flat black backgrounds. Box art is powerful.

I agree with what most oof others commented - the lack of small and medium size sets for many themes, dull black boxes, etc. Also, I would like us to get castle battle packs back, and it's annoying to know that they are not doing that because many will buy the expensive sets just to get some unique minifigures.

I’m so tired of IP themes. Not saying there isn’t room for any but some original themes that they actually put effort into would be nice.

I think the quality of Star Wars sets just isn’t there compared to other themes dont get me wrong the figs look great but it’s always just a small detail Thats wrong or an ugly part of a great set which I don’t see as much in other themes. I do like the Lego city space sets rn they’re good for kids to build, but I wish we had more original themes like city and space. We NEED medieval back there’s so much demand, the prices for Star Wars sets aren’t great for the last wave and the selection of sets wasn’t the best but it was good compared to sets when the sequels were out. We need more sets like we did in 2010 era we need a new count dooku, grievous, and other separatist leaders. I think the Lego Star Wars theme could improve by releasing a wave of seperatist or maybe a few seperatist sets a wave in the future. The Lego group as a whole is doing decent rn I like most of the licensed sets, but the original themes need more love. I would love to see space, medieval, pirates, or even Wild West return and not just in a 3-in-1. I think they need to go back to their roots and stick to cheaper sets for kids with a 18+ set maybe 3 times a year per wave to keep the hobby affordable and make them feel more special rather than 20 18+ sets and 2 10 dollar sets.
