My biggest advice for traveling to France that I learned is:
Don’t listen to the people who say every person there is rude, pretty much everyone I’ve encountered was very nice and welcoming. If you go over there and act like a prick then yes, people will be rude with you, but that’s not their fault.
Big surprise that the people who say “French “people”” and make surrender jokes/jokes about wiping France off the map would have people over there thinking they’re obnoxious. If someone goes to a place and says the people there are rude, then the issue is not with the people.
