Anything by Alan Moore, especially From Hell and the Killing Joke. For less heavy reading: "American born Chinese" is great to read with children And Moby Dick illustrated by Bill Sienkiewicz is amazing

I adore ‘Are You Listening?’ It’s a graphic novel about two lesbians who for all intents and purposes, go on a road trip adventure together and learn more about each other, and the audience slowly learns more about their history with one another. It’s genuinely very beautifully written, I simply love it

When I read them apart from school, like Warrior Cats, those graphic novels can be helpful because their short and sweet and the art is awesome. Love graphic novels and regular novels. I hate regular novels with pictures tho. Anyways, it’s nice for me cuz it’s always photos and really adds emotion, so yeah, I don’t read them a lot but I love them.
