Been thinking about making a Patreon! Not right away of course- far too busy! But it's been on my mind for a while since I have some things I can share that I usually wouldn't unless it was up to my 'high standards'.
First Tier would have access to all my sketches, concepts, and preparations for different things I create! These would be exclusive to my own projects, as I don't intend to violate the privacy of my clients. [unless they permit me to share the commission's progress!] This would also include a potential discord.
Second Tier would be a Tutor Tier! With this one, I would be available to help / provide advice for anything YOU may want to create! No, this does not mean I'll make you an entire animatic or plan for free- no this does not mean I'll make you character designs for free. What this DOES mean is if you find it tricky to animate specific actions [ie: a character breakdancing] I can give you direct advice and samples on how I'd try viewing it to make it easier to work with! This tier would also allow access to some exercises and techniques I use to make my life easier. (also could include a 'thank you sketch' of a character of your choosing!)
[I'll still be making tutorial videos in the future! But this would be the way to find out about my tips and tricks ahead of time ^^ ]
Third Tier focuses on the animation/animatic aspects, so this tier would let me share the rough animations, thumbnails, and the references or processes I go through. While I share some parts of it on my social media platforms, there is a fair amount I prepare behind the scenes when brainstorming what to do! This tier would also allow people to give me suggestions for video's that I'll take more seriously. Whether it be through a short or a longform video, I can promise to at least give the idea a proper go!
[ this would not mean I'd be animating specific things but like- if y'all have a specific song you like and want to see something made for it, I can at least make a plan and see how I feel! ]
Let me know your thoughts on this! Which tier interests you? I'd most likely keep the prices relatively close to each other with maybe a $3 - $5 difference, so just by content alone, vote in the polls!
