I dreamt up another Castlevania game last night. It was released for either the Sega CD or the Saturn. Like with Rondo of Blood, it was linear but with branching pathways (although the levels were long and had a lot of movement options, making them almost seem like Sonic levels). You could switch between two characters out of a selection of six. The magical rabbit-like creature was considered the best by the community, because even though it didn't do as much damage per attack, its miniscule hitbox and quick speed made it a force to be reckoned with, especially during boss battles.
