I think all Karate Kid movies are gonna be like that, just different countries/states . But it has cool fight scenes. I saw Li Fong doing actual Jackie Chan comedy choreography

Once you watch the Karate Kid franchises enough, you can see the pattern in every movie. The whole point of the Karate Kid films is to showcase a kid or teenager who goes from bullied to Karate Champion by defeating the Villian in a tournament setting.
