I feel so fortunate to have grown up in the 90s.

To see and come of age *alongside* the internet, not *with* today’s internet.

Millennials understand the past and think of the future differently than any other digital native generation.

Agree, there are some easy ways to imagine how I'd have turned out different in what seems like a net negative way if I didn't have the benefit of both perspectives. It's just a coincidence that it worked out that way--and it's a good reminder that there's usually a better understanding on the other side of appreciating both sides of a topic.

I think about this all the time. Born alongside video games the personal computer and watches the internet and technology come alive as we did. There’s a good ongoing joke that we’re the only generation who knows how to work a computer lol

agreed, I grew up in the 80s and when I came out of school in the 90s the internet was that weird school topic nobody went to. ( except a few nerds like me ) . I have seen software empire rise and fall, I have seen the digital content rot that sets in every platform as they grow so many times,I have seen many of the things that the community was warning about became true. The us government created the ultimate propaganda tool and it's probably gonna cost them their democracy.
