The "beard-barb(e)" and "kera-corneo" stuff is so funny to me. I understand the need for specificity in science but language always comes back to remind us that stuff is just things, man.

I love the second pic with the sinosauropteryxs because I was trying to explain to a teacher how sino has fur and she would NOT believe sino has fur but when I explained how it was a type of feather she understood
