History of Everything Podcast

I know that it was said in a moment of frustration but this is without a doubt one of the best compliments this channel could get unintentionally https://youtu.be/gw_pd2KA04o?si=YEgBk...

Delivering the news without being biased to any side. Every news outlet should strive to be like this.

This is a way easier route to neutrality than the Swiss way of shooting so many French dudes you decide to retire at your peak.

Honestly one of the reasons I love this channel so much is because, as an American, it's absurdly refreshing to have someone just tell me about things that are happening/have happened without putting a spin on it or trying to sell me something. Whether it's supplements, outrage, anger or hatred, everyone is selling something these days. But not you.. You just like.... Talk about things? Inconceivable!! On a serious note though keep doing your thing, I appreciate you.

Ya know, in a strange way I appreciate a person like this. What they've told me up front right then and there, is that they aren't interested in simply discussing an issue in a fair and balanced way. They have a position they're looking to convince others of. With that information, I can either choose to walk away if not in the mood to deal with it, or should decide to engage I have a much better idea of what I'm walking into and can act accordingly.

@Conicee

I mean everyone had bias. But it is really clear you make great strides to try to take as much of that bias out of your content as possible. That's why I like this channel so much.

@John-Wolfe

Honestly, the way you present things, including the history, brings context in a valued perspective. Then bias is low to minimal and the research is great. No spin, no rhetoric, no propaganda... its refreshing.

Neutrality is useful at times. But it also becomes problematic at other times. Like when someone refuses to criticize an obviously horrible policy for fear of upsetting their audience that has been gaslit into supporting that policy. That sanewashes the policy and the politician that made it. Which is harmful to a nation in the long term.

I love how they hate how you aren't polar in what you say. Not being pigeonholed into one camp or the other makes so many people uncomfortable.

Neutrality from someone talking about history and current events?! Say it ain't so... However will I know what I should believe if I'm not constantly being told?!

You can tell you go out of your way to be neutral on any given topic. I think most people appreciate that

Achievement Unlocked: Neutrality but it’s a bad thing in the eyes of some random person.

I'm just glad you read some of the shit we write, as there's almost no response what so ever I thought you just ignored it for the most part. I guess it's more of a general rule of elaborating properly on one specific topic at a time with a video, instead of a fast response in the comments.
