Hanaya

🚨 Urgent Notice! ⚡️ Please make sure to read this announcement 📢✅

Hello, this is Hana from the Hanaya channel. I’m writing this as an urgent notice. Someone is impersonating my channel and spamming WhatsApp phone numbers under comments. I have reported this to YouTube, and I want to inform you so that no one gets harmed. I do not use WhatsApp and I do not have a phone number. Please be aware that this is a scam using my profile and channel name. My real channel is hanaya21, and hanaya2I is a fake. Thank you.

It's a common practice. Most people are familiar with it, but it is nice that you are making everyone aware. Thank you.

Congratulations Hana, you’re a success! This unfortunately happens to many of the successful channels. It’s good to warn your followers, but also to keep in mind that it happens to many people, and will likely happen many times over.

Thank you for the warning, but rest assured, most of us on YouTube have seen this before. It's always a scam. Thanks for looking out for your followers! I guess it's a downside of Western prosperity that it attracts so much fraud.

Not unusual, it only confirms that you're gaining in popularity ;)

This is a very common problem on YouTube. It is very good of you to warn people. A good tactic is to pin a comment under your videos stating that you don’t use WhatsApp.

It was too obvious. Thank you though for confirming it

People joke that these spam bots mean “you made it” on social media. 😅 Most of us are familiar with this practice and I have reported a couple

This seems to be happening a lot. Even an hour ago a Filipina I follow mentioned the same thing. I started seeing this about a year ago when someone pretending to be a Chinese comedian responded to my comment with a fake number. I almost fell for it. Hopefully many people know of these tricks and won't fall for it. Always take care 🙏

It just means you're popular enough to try to fake, Hana. A lot of creators I follow have this issue. I report them every time. Just keep doing what you do, Hana! And thanks for the warning!
