My curiosity has no limits, and it has lead me through terrible times of ignorance and doubt into a greater mode of acceptance, and peace with everything, but this does not mean happiness. Happiness has nothing to do with peace. You can smile candidly while burning the world to the ground if that's what you want or need. So find what you want or need so that you can be happy.

Enlightenment has nothing to do with curiosity. It just means you have an exceptionally “modern“ mindset. Essentially it means you’re ahead of or at the curve for human understanding.

If you’re stuck in the realm of hungry ghosts or in other words always striving for more; in this case knowledge/answers. Then I would assume depression. Never being able to be satisfied with what you have, whether it be knowledge or other achievements seems like a curse.

Thing is, it depends on who you are. Because curiosity leads to growth, which is inherently painful before it gets better. You need to be a very special kind to not mind the pain, especially if its a perpetual cycle with seemingly no end.
