Ren loves reactors, and allows full monetization of his videos. If YT gives you any trouble about it, his team will quickly fix it for you. I understand your position on watching the videos for most artists, but Ren's videos are works of art themselves, meant to be a PART of the experience of his music. Money Game 3, especially, is a masterpiece, and I hope you'll do yourself the favor of at least watching it on your own.

Polo, I think that if people got upset, it wasn't because they're mad at you - it's because they were so excited to see your reaction to the whole package, and then they felt sad that you missed out on part of the experience. I love that you did all three songs in one video, and I hope that you'll go back and do another reaction to the videos. If not, then I hope that you'll watch the videos for yourself, because they're amazing, and the last one won several awards. Ren is kind of known for creating intricate one-take videos, which takes a lot of time. For example, for MG1, they did something like 180 takes before Ren was satisfied that he had gotten it right. Fans just want to see you appreciate all of that hard work! And, as others have noted, Ren is very reactor-friendly. He knows that reactors are helping him, and he wants to help reactors in return. As Ren says, "A rising tide lifts all ships." :hands-yellow-heart-red:

Ren does not copyright strike his own material, he's gone on record saying he wants reactors to review his music as it his business model, he's an independent artist not signed to any record label, so reaction videos are free marketing for him and its made him very successful. Send ren a message if you're not sure, but nobody has had a copyright strike from Ren

While that may be a way to cover some artists not for ren. Because of REN’s health issues he cannot tour or do a lot of planned live performances. He puts an immense amount of energy into the videos and visuals. He does not copyright rectors and allows monetization. There are many bands and or artists where video is not required to digest and analyze the art. Ren is the exception.

We appreciate everything you do and your honesty and intelligent commentary. I personally would rather you explore the world of Ren properly and watch the videos for you yourself bc it's like 90% of the experience. You're totally missing out. I want you to succeed monetarily and Ren will make sure you get yours on his stuff. And if not you should def also watch the vidoe version for patreon and experience it. Olease dont lose out on your personal experience and journey for us. Ren is worth it. We love you bro and id rather you get what we all get from Ren than not just bc of some dogshite layers pricks.

Polo Your reactions are articulate, intelligent, always fun to watch and a smart person always takes care of their business. Keep doing what You do best and know that your videos are greatly appreciated. Ren has previously said his music is open for everyone to enjoy, react to and is happy to share it, a genuine artist.

Ren has a new set of "Tales", they have got to be watched full video. I think he will someday make a full movie, he is just as talented as a director and actor as he is a lyrics and singing. First two parts are out now, "Vincent's Tale (Sunflowers) Prologue, and "Vincent's Tale" with more to come soon in the series. If you want a song, song, his voice is showcased and his talents shine in "Back on 74/message in a bottle, his retake on songs he loves. Video please, so important with Ren's work

I think its helpful to understand Ren is a full package Artist, he creates the visuals he wants you to experience as hes writing and creating the song. So the visual art is big part of the whole experience. Ren puts a lot of time, effort, creativity and money into his art and its not just art for the sake of art, there is always other symbolic meanings in the visuals, the lyrics and sonics. So to really appreciate the art, you need to see it as the artist intended. It would be like going to the louve with a blindfold on to not see the visual part of the peice.

I’m not mad Your reaction was 🔥 regardless The music should hold its own against the popular video. And you 100% showed that. Renegades will appreciate that. And Ren will also appreciate tha

The videos really round out the story for each of the songs. I encourage you to watch them on your own if nothing else.

You should do the types of reaction videos you want and have the capacity to do. With Ren I find that the videos are as much a part of the art as the music- they definitely aren't just an afterthought. He's a story teller in all mediums, but that may not be to your taste. It's a challenge to react to all elements of what he produces. You aren't obligated to take that on if it feels like labor instead of enjoyment.

I hope no one is being ignorant. Thats not how Renegades should be. Period. Anyone who respects Ren will respect you also, your reactions have been conscientious, honest, and meaningful. I hope you catch the visuals on your own sometime but that doesn't change my respect for what you do.

I commented on one of your recent Cure reactions that the band - esp Robert Smith - feels the music is equally important to the lyrics. The instrumentation creates an atmosphere, and they take as much time as needed. While they have some instrumental songs, their music and lyrics are interdependent. Ren thinks of his videos that way. He visualizes videos as he writes his songs. The videos are part of the song. Obviously, circumstances can change things, but Ren directs (or co-) the videos when he can. They're another layer of meaning. Thank you for taking the time to hear the music. It's understandable for people that can get distracted by visuals in general. I often close my eyes to better experience music. I haven't seen the video yet (just this post), so I'm not sure which versions you listened to (MG2 causes the most comments since his acapella video is only an excerpt). You don't have to watch his videos to enjoy his music. It's just that Ren is one of the artists who conceptualizes merging media (i.e. the visuals and the audio go together). ✌️💛

POLO REACTS
In Regards to my last Ren Reaction. A bunch of music videos have millions of views and I pick the song not the video especially when views can be bought. So I don't care about views on the music video when deciding which one to pick(most of the time). I've done this hundreds of time and have upset people when I react to music videos and I upset people when I don't react to the video. You are more likely to get blocked on youtube when you play full music video then only Patreon will be able to hear my thoughts on it. I wanted everyone to see it which is why I chose the music not the music videos originally because even this was copyrighted (all three songs). Took me 2 hours to complete for free just for the love of the subscribers.
