To anyone who likes this music, may I recommend them to listen to the final album released by "Torchsong" called, "Toward The Unknown Region". This group was also a William Orbit project formed in the mid-Eighties. This album has recently been remastered and is here on YouTube for you audio appreciation! I mention this recommendation as it seems that hardly anyone, including fans of "Billy Buttons" aka Mr Orbit, have ever heard it. It's definitely one of his best, most complete sounding works. I would say that it's a very rounded listening experience, although perhaps a bit too ambient for some, with no "filler" tracks. Unfortunately in the past Mr Orbit has resorted to filling out some of his albums with unlistenable stuff at times... Also, please check out the album by Caroline Lavelle called "Spirit". Mr Orbit co-wrote and produced most of the tracks. That's another really good piece of work; on par with his work with Madonna. For a taster, listen to the first track, "Turning Ground"... The album also has one of my most favourite Orbit songs, "The Island". His most recent single release was "Bank Of Wildflowers" which is up there with his best work (the remixes by Phaeleh and by Leftfield are great too). From his days with Bassomatic, and the success of the track "Fascinating Rhythm", William Orbits best work seems to always feature female singers in the forefront of the tracks, and not merely as background singers. I wish someone would make a playlist that features all of his best songs together in the same place. A challenge for someone with the ability and know-how...😊
