Nintendo is easing us towards changes I think are inevitable. Game key cards are disappointing, but they could have removed physical carts entirely and they didn’t do that yet. And seeing the new game prices hurt, but the upgrade packs for some games (which we can likely get on sale for switch 1) are super nice.

I think the new connector design for the joycons is crap. Those little nubs are gonna snap off so easily. It’ll be the thing that replaces joycon drift

What can I say that everyone else has already said? I was sick of Nintendo's censorship and greed, during the WiiU days. I am tired of the smash hit franchises like Splatoon not getting the full ambitious focus of others games, with the devs instead forced to split between that and Animal Crossing, whose latest game was extremely boring despite high sales. Can't wait for Splatoon 1.9 (4) and to have all of the content slowly released to me again

Game Key Cards are utterly pointless. You still need to download and install the games on your system, which takes up precious storage space. You won't be able to download the game once the servers are taken offline. Yet it still takes up shelf space, can still succumb to physical damage and can very easily get lost. Not to mention it's a waste of plastic and silicon for no real benefit. All of the downsides of digital and physical game copies with none of the benefits... what an unhappy middle ground.
