1 year ago from today, I posted my first video on YouTube. It was one of my first animations I had ever made (The first part of the video actually was my first time using Stop Motion Studio!) I had originally made that video back in March of 2020; back when I first found out about Lego stop motion, and was utterly astounded at the fact that I could make whatever movies I wanted to make with just a creative idea, a phone, and my Legos!
For 4 1/2 years, I never really gave much thought about posting my animations on YouTube. I had made a channel on Rumble in 2022, and it was there that I found a small community of Lego animators like myself. The fact that I had a little community of animators waiting to see another one of my videos made me want to make animations all the more. However, when that community ended up kinda fizzling out, I found myself making quality videos that weren't really appreciated but maybe by a couple others. It was then that I decided to make the leap to Youtube to expand my reach and build a solid community of animators who would support one another's work.
And so, on Nov 20th, 2024, I posted the animation that started this amazing journey of making quality animations that serve to be an inspiration to others.
Fast-forward a year later. I now have amassed almost 1.4K subscribers, and am a part of a community of animators larger than I ever imagined!
Like seriously, I only thought that I would get maybe around 500 subscribers on my first year 😅.
So I just wanted to take the moment and say a big THANK YOU to everyone who's ever watched any of my videos and supported me in any way!
The support and encouragement I get every time I post a video means so much to me and motivates me all the more to make another quality video for you guys!
