Thank you. It always amazes me how generous you are with your receipes, your time, work and knowledge. I own a signed copy of your cookbook and have had many hours of joy as we convert to veganism. Thank you, Jocelyn and Ali Ozbeytemur Willoughby, Ohio

I live in northwest Arkansas. We have one of the biggest outdoor markets in the country. I took my wagon and filled it up full of fresh local veggies and meats. August is my favorite time of year as well but I also look forward to the late season melons in late September. Pumpkins will soon flood the markets. Maybe you could show us how to incorporate more pumpkins into our recipes.

Beautiful bounty, Nisha! And a heartfelt thank you and our sincerest apologies to those who grow and pick our luscious produce and harvests! We should have educated ourselves better and protected you better from the ICEy cold frost that has set in, even now in the heat of August! 🥺😞 For us all: Support your local immigrant protection groups. Or if that for some reason makes you mad, support your local farmers, and learn about (by asking them directly) how their subsidies & workers are deteriorating. Or if you don’t like that idea, talk to your local grocery store manager about the differences they are noticing from their farm-suppliers. Be thankful for colorful, nourishing plants. Be thankful also for the hands that care for and grow and transport those same plants. And become more involved in your community. Now is the time. (Well, it’s past time, but better late than never!) Do not remain neutral! Be active, helpful, GOOD citizens - and THEN get your friends involved! For our neighbors’ sake, for our food-supply’s sake, for our health’s sake… least not for democracy’s sake. 🍒🌽🍓🥬🍅🫑

I just used tomatoes from my garden tonight when my son and I made your tempeh bacon for a "BLT". I was super skeptical, but they were pretty good for not being the real thing.

Ive honestly never noticed a change in produce 😬maybe as I’m in northern ireland and am also not into fruit at all? A lot of our stuff is internationally imported. Apart from the mighty spud 🥔

If I could eat the produce from only one month out of the year, it would be August! There is just so much good fruit and veg in season right now, it’s almost unfair to the other months.
