I always liked green ornaments with a white tree. They stand out so well!

I've never had an all white tree but I have had a heavily "snow covered" tree with blue, silver and white ornaments, which is by far my favorite! I've had a tree of multiple shaped blue glass ornaments, a tree of blue glass balls and snow flakes and icicles, a tree of all blue lights with all white and clear ornaments and finally a tree of all sorts of snowmen, white, blue and silver.

Megan, you have some really great ideas. I think I''ve watched nearly all of your videos now and have gained a lot of useful tip, tricks and DIY crafts knowledge. I'm posting this hoping you'll see this and reach out with a response.   I'm looking for some ideas on decorating a 7.5 ft green tree for my 20yo son who just moved out on his own and trying to help him do his 1st tree without it looking like his mother did it for him. Was trying to do something a bit more masculine while keeping with traditional xmas theme. His apt color tones are dark brown hardwood floors, medium beige carpet, SW French grey walls, white trim/cabinetry, charcoal counters, medium brown/grey wood furniture and a slate grey blue couch.   How would you or any other readers for that matter approach this tree decor? I tend to gravitate to a rustic glam look incorporating both natural woodland elements with crystal and glass sparkly goodies all in neutral tones, and that tends to look more feminine IMO.

I have always been a blue fan…but lately I’m liking how the pastels look on a white tree

A screen on a wall that could be seasonal that shows all the choices and is good for every holiday that way you don't have to store anything

My white tree has all red ornaments because it looks like a candy cane 😆. My flocked tree is burgundy and gold. My plain green tree is done in classic Christmas colors (red and greed), and my miniature trees are all different, too. I have 8 trees because I downsized

Red is nice for Christmas but the blue is good for winter depending depending on which vibes you're going for. I have an all winter tree that is red, green and gold for Christmas and blue and silver for winter (Jan)

White tree.....I am the dark blue and silver .... or ....candy cane (red and white swirls) and apples with huge ribbon as the topper with streamers falling down the tree........ fruit on the tree such as Oranges, Grapefruits, Tangerines, Apples, that could be very fun. For my tree I have white lights, clear blown glass ornaments in different shapes and sizes ( pair of ice skates, tear drops, ice sickles, Disney Characters) I am sure you get where I am going with this. Huge bow on top with streamers. Another option could be choo choo's, sleds, skis, hats and mittens, snowmen, cups of cocoa/ coffee candy canes .....Guess it mainly depends on preference and if a theme is involved.

Looks like it may come down to where we live? I grew up in the north so I'm traditional with red and white. But to each their own! Not sure what Texas would prefer.
