Here you see my rigid heddle loom configuration and a special cameo by my backup chair. This works well because I can use the space under the table for storage since I don't need to roll under the table. Instead, I slide the loom forward into my lap and set the notches in the far end onto the edge of the table for stability and support as I weave. This is not a fast process for anyone, but for me, these simple projects can take over a week for me to make due to the rigors of the warping and tying on process. After a few days of resting from that, once I begin weaving, I can only do so for a few minutes at a time because I have to take my arm rests off to fit the loom properly, so I have no upper body support, which causes me to fatigue very rapidly.
