FAMILY, LISTEN…

We are ALL reflections of each other.
No one walking this human path is exempt from any emotion or any action. The same fire that burns in another has burned in you. The same storms they are facing, you’ve faced in another form.

Try this, the next time you see someone expressing themselves out of pain, confusion, anger, or fear… pause. Before you judge, remember THIS… “The sage sees himself in all beings, and all beings in himself.”
The Qur’an reminds us that humanity came “from a single soul.”
And the Gospel of Thomas says, “When you see your brother, you see your own face.”

In nature, a wounded wolf slows the entire pack.
A bent tree is given space by the whole forest.
But humans? We often attack what we should be understanding.

Every emotion you witness in someone else is simply a mirror showing you a piece of yourself—maybe healed, maybe hidden, maybe still in progress. This is why we attract certain people to us, it’s for us to examine ourselves, when we lack this awareness we judge others in what we should be reflecting off of. The same things we criticize each other for, in the right situation we expose the same behavior. This “saga” for me is far more than entertaining, it’s humbling and above all it’s revealing, in all of the toxicity I’ve heard in this saga I’ve seen some of the seemingly kindest people lash out and say some of the harshest things out of anger and pain, I’ve been there myself. And I’ve seen some of the seemingly meanest people say some of the most intelligent and wise words when karma pays them a visit. I’ve seen people complain when the exact same things they’ve done to another happens to them, or they do the very same thing that they criticizes another person for. For me this is proof that we are not so different, we only need different reasons to do certain actions but none of us are above the other.

My advice, So lean in before you label.
See yourself before you condemn.
Offer grace instead of judgment.

Because when you understand another, you understand your own shadow.
And when you love someone through their storm, you heal a piece of your own.

We rise when we remember we are one.
Oh one last thing, remember this, other peoples thoughts and opinions of you may feel heavy, but in the grand scheme of things they hold very little weight as it relates to who you actually are. I used to regret how I’ve reacted at times but now I’m grateful for the opportunities to grow and become better. I truly hope you all don’t miss your opportunities to grow as well. This saga is not for the faint of heart. It will expose the areas of underdevelopment in all of us. Get too deep in it and you may not like who you see in the mirror. Rise.
