I read some Blue Beetle comic at my local library some years ago and I remember liking it so I’m happy to see a movie for him coming out

I'm a Marvel person. The list of DC heroes that I actually like is a shortlist. Blue Beetle is one of my favorites. I loved his character in Batman: The Brave and The Bold.

DC shines when it’s funny. The really dark stuff (based on the darker comics) is good to, but where they sub their toes is when they try to straddle the two.

They lost me when they called Batman a fascist. I'd rather watch a movie that doesn't have a script written by a 5 year old.

The costume and the casting looks pretty awesome, but I kinda wish the beetle ai would have more of a persona like in the animated series. The story is also looking to be kinda bland

Any movie I want to see I make a point to either watch no previews or one of the earliest ones at the most. These days they practically tell the movie through previews which ruins the point.
