To be fair that's what I'm usually doing in lieu of going to a doctor. I google my symptoms and say "This hernia looking thing sticking out of me is probably just gas."

This is happening and it's truly sad. Us as a human race is devolving. Soon we will be using sticks and stones again.

I had to do virtual urgent care recently to get a prescription updated. the guy was Googling stuff while I was talking to him, told me I needed an IV drip and to come to the ER right now. he was wrong, but it certainly gave me pause

Last time I went to the doctor he literally typed my symptoms into his computer turned it around to show me the screen and said looks like it's this or that and I realized he was using some internal hospital database search engine sooo not to far off

When my mom had a stroke, we did a emergency treatment nearby hospital and went to admit her in a big hospital. Ngl we went there with a report about this emergency treatment, they were literally using Google to find what was used. People please be healthy, very few doctors are genuine and service minded.

It's so true. I live in Bakersfield California, when I was a little kid, the doctors used to be so different, sophisticated, caring and would listen to you. Today it's a bunch of young people that are always grumpy and don't care about what you have to say, they look at you and quickly "diagnose" you with something that they think you have, already giving you the medications for something that you don't have, it's happened so many times with my mom and other people I know, and they are always mistaken. Doctors today are the worst and lack knowledge.
